Life has given me a Masterclass in self-compassion, resilience, and authenticity

These lessons have come the hard way, with a journey that included a nervous breakdown, generalized anxiety disorder, and clinical depression.

Yet these very lessons have most effectively shaped the self-compassionate, non-judgmental, and intuitively wise woman I’ve become.

Now at 56, I find peace of mind in the wisdom that comes with age, instead of dreading getting older.

Now that I've reached Post-Menopause, and survived, I want to create the safe space I wish I had while fumbling through all 3 stages: Peri-Menopause—Menopause, and now Post-Menopause.

I'm also an empath, and what's called an HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) which had an effect on the nature of my experiences.

My symptoms were severe, but not the typical hot flashes and night sweats.

It took my Peace of Mind, quite literally, and I was diagnosed with what I call my alphabet soup: GAD, CD, and CPTSD.

My journey through Menopause and complex PTSD has gifted me with insights into the profound strength that resides within wounds.”
